Who We Are
Mission statement
We are formed to provide a multilayered, multimedia solution toward fading local media coverage and to provide an expansion of storytelling formats and platforms that document the news, culture, trends and evolving history of a locality.
The MMF aims to advance the art and practical application of storytelling through diverse mediums and platforms. To provide a gathering and learning center for media, media communications and arts talents that will allow them to grow their talents through their peers and the guidance of master teachers and directors. To teach and aid these talented professionals and yet-to-be professionals in the work and tactics necessary to become successful media professionals and storytellers.
We Are Media Professionals and Master Teachers from various media and arts disciplines whose combined experience reaches nearly 70 years.
We are young media professionals and apprentice level social media talents who will apply our natural abilities and audience to telling stories in our communities through various platforms. We create, collaborate, execute, and distribute content to inform, educate, entertain, and illuminate the stories around us.
We are polished administrators and managers who structure and lead the model of the Maryland Media Foundation. We are the mechanics and the organizing framework of the MMF. We ensure that the promise has a solid foundation.
